| Since I can't seem to find any of the banned terms in the bill. Official California Legislative Information - Bill Information I doubt the world is coming to an end. But can you explain to me how this will increase school rapes? Do you have some sort of facts or is it just bigotry toward gays? I'm reasonably sure I already know the answer. | I was thinking that it was ridiculous, until I read the entire thing. They're blowing it WAY out of proportion it seems. The article clearly states at the beginning that he's banning "Mom and Dad" and other shit that might seem discriminatory, but I think it looks like he's just banning stuff saying "homosexuality is bad" etc. The restroom/locker room thing is bad though, and that seems a bit ridiculous to me... Hell, if I were a dude in high school there, I think it's obvious which locker room I'd be going in And if the teachers tried to stop me, I'd just tell them I'm a female trapped in a male's body, I just happen to be a lesbian |

| Chicken Little wants his schtik back.  It would seem that the article was written by a serious Neo-Con or Bible Thumper. I'm with Eric. It doesn't seem this bill really goes any further than other acts barring discrimination based on sexual orientation. I'll be the first to admit that I have my own views on sexuality. They don't seem to jive with the vocal minority/majority(?) but I'm certainly not in support of whole groups of people being persecuted for their beliefs.  On the surface this seems like it could be PC taken a little too far but with only a little digging (thanks Eric) it seems it's more business as usual. Edit: Quote:
