You know, considering i live in the most "Liberal" place in florida (IE, A College town), We still dont get any liberal talk radio. i just like to listen to rush limbaugh and michael savage, and anything they disagree with me on lets me know that i'm right

Um, there are such things in life as facts. Not everything is liberal or conservative. If you don't take my word for it, I'll find the source of that, I read it about 3 years ago but I can find it. If I recall though, the study basically analyzed just about every news piece that came out during the last election or 2 (most major news stations/newspapers), charted which ones were slanted to Gore, Bush, etc...and the Anti-Gore stories were by FAR the majority, even in most "liberal" outlets like CNN. And the study found the New York Times was basically 50/50, compared to NewsCorp or Reverend Sung-Myung Moon owned papers which were like 90/10.

Actually, that's how the Republican party tries to spin the Democrats. The first two are valid criticisms, arguably - the third is way off base, as arguably the Democrats are the party doing most to get our solders properly rested, properly equipped, and properly trained before placing them in the line of fire, as well as trying to not put them places they don't belong - i.e, another nation's civil war.

Really, what's at issue here is that the GOP is much more centralized than the Democrats, whereas we are more divided/divisible. Admittedly, I wouldn't want a solidified GOP against a solidified Democratic party, because both parties make mistakes, but reality doesn't correlate with what I want nearly often enough, so whatever.

Anyway, welcome to the boards, dude - you actually seem to be a relatively intelligent conservative who doesn't just spew party line bullshit, which means I'm probably really going to enjoy chatting with you, even if I'm sure we won't agree on anything.

You know, i don't even think Rush necessarily even believes what he says. I think he's just trying to stir up shit. He never gives any reasoning (that i've heard) for why he holds his opinions, he just spouts them off and people don't question them.
