Sheehan Plans Run Against Pelosi Unless Bush Impeachment Sought - CommonDreams.org

If Pelosi doesn't move to impeach Bush in the next two weeks, then Cindy Sheehan has vowed to run against her as an indepenent.

Call me nuts, but I like this a lot. We need more pissed off people out there running trying oust corupt Republicans and spineless Democrats. There needs to be a national movement for this. Maybe I'll run as my congressman sucks giant baboon balls.

She tried, but everyone still ignored her. So she thought she'd get back in, I guess.

I REALLY don't like Cindy Sheehan. Someone has to tell the woman that, without at least a small umber of swing Republican voters, the Dems don't have enough of a majority to do anything other than be sort of annoying to Bush.

So she has no right to ask why we went to war and what her son died for? I think if she has questions about why her son died then she has every right to ask them. If she chooses to vocal as Hell about it then good for her.

Casey Sheehan's death is completely Bush's fault. If he hadn't started this war then more than likely Casey would still be alive.

She has the right to ask. I never said that. I'm saying its pointless to blame bush. You know my opinion on bush, its not like foregoing that. I'm saying he didnt have to enter the military.
If Casey Sheehan didn't join the military, he'd more than likely still be alive.

the way she talks, she makes it sound like GWB went "MWAHAHAHA! I'LL PUT A ROADSIDE BOMB NEXT TO MR SHEEHAN'S HUMMER!"

You can also question whether or not he really had much say in joining the military - they go door-to-door in disadvantaged neighborhoods for a reason; the Army offers an economic level of security that might not have otherwise been possible.

That's neither here nor there, though. What I take offense to is Sheehan's inability, much like bush, to see a complex issue in anything other than black or white, her focus on "me" evident even in her "I'm giving up" letter, and the fact that she's being really fucking annoying while not accomplishing anything. Ask yourself honestly how different the anti-war movement in the states would be today if she just vanished. Answer - not very.
