It's just all falling apart on him now. There is no way Bush is going to be able to ignore this without alienating the already withering support in his own party.

I saw Bill Clinton on Larry King Live last night, and he had the best perspective on it. He said that a long-term friend of the president should not put him in this position, and should resign to prevent the president from being forced to fire him.

As an insider already pointed out, the damage to the Justice Department is already done, regardless of whether he goes or stays. At this point, it doesn't matter.
