What kind of crack is this moron smoking? We've been just on the edge of victory for four years now, and quite frankly, I don't fucking believe it anymore. The only thing Bush has proven is that he is completely unable to make an intelligent decision, and therefore should not be trusted with any strategic planning, period. If he was a Secretary of Defense, he would have been removed in the same manner as Rumsfeld.

We, the American people, don't want to give the President's plan a chance to work. We don't want to hear a damn thing he has to say, and we damn sure don't want him making anymore "decisions". We just want it to be 2008 so we can get fucking rid of him. Hopefully this dipshit from Arizona is up for re-election, so maybe we can get rid of him to. He said U.S. commanders and Iraqi leaders share "cautious optimism" that Bush's plan to beef up security in Baghdad can work.

"cautious optimism" translates to we're so out of any reasonable ideas that we're just throwing shit up against the wall and praying something sticks. This troop escalation is a sick joke. We've have 150,000 troops in Iraq before and it didn't help. This will not stop anything or help get us out of Iraq any faster.

Partisan politics are killing this country slowly I swear. The republicans are so beholden to their party they seem indifferent to the truth ot logic. Hell, Warner wrote his own resolution against the escalation, then backed off when his party's leader in the Senate asked him to.

This whole mess is making me sicker every day.
