If I was showed that out of the blue with no context or expectations, I would assume that it was a perfectly-executed parody of a cheesy political ad. It seems that the death of satire won't come about by widespread humorlessness, but rather by things actually being too dumb to warrant comment.

That said, chickens are mean and dangerous in packs. I always try to keep at least a layer of breading between us.

I've got a theory:

Cain is a good friend of Colbert, who is a satirical political commentator. The Colbert on TV is just a character that he plays. Maybe Cain is the same? Just a satirical politician making fun of the stereotypes, that are all too real in the current political climate?

Or maybe I just don't want to think about an American being this ....ing stupid.
