Interesting, but too hot to live on (temps are above the boiling point of water). But still, it indicates that there are planets out there that have significant amounts of water. Someday, hopefully one with temps closer to what we have here on Earth will be discovered.

I don't think we need to, some lifeforms on earth can thrive in absurdly hot or cold temperatures.

there are crabs, and worms, actual living multi celled organisms that live in hydrothermal vents here on earth that reach up to 300 f. thats not even single celled. ithe temperature would not defeat the possibilty of life on that planet..

By the time we have improved space travel enough to reach it, we should be able to terraform it into a surivable habitat. Earth started as a very inhospitable planet, but over time its become what it is now. No reason we couldn't influence another planet to do the same by changing the atmosphere etc.

My bad. I should have clarifed my statement - I meant too hot for humans (at least without terraforming). There are more than a few organisms that can take high temps. (such as around the smoker vents on the ocean floor).

Ah, seeing as it is compromised of a lot of water, there could very well be life living in the depths of the seas, where it will just be warm to very cold

I think the temperature is probably the surface temperature.

Seeing as how life (for the sane people here that can get their heads around 7 days being an extrodinary short space of time) started in the oceans here, well, it's not unfeasable at all is it
