![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | if you were gonna put EMGs in originally, i'm assuming you want a high output p/u? if that's the case X2N7 all the way! i have one in a carvin DC727 (mahogany neck and body, maple top, ebony f/b) closest thing i've found to an EMG in a passive, actually sounds better in my opinion. Blaze Custom sounds weak and thin in comparison. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well, i was gonna put an X2N-7 in it, but the damn thing seems to be defective. And it will also need some routing to add depth to the pickup cavity. I screwed it as far down as it would go, but it was quite close to the pickups. A little too close, If i am to believe what people say about the x2n :S What other choice would be good? Evo 7? Tone Zone? |

Anyone know if one of the DiMarzio 5 way split coil switches will fit in the S7420? Havin access to both outer and inner split coils would be cool... |
