.070 ....Yikes. I heard Karl Sanders uses a .072 for his low A string though, that's insane.

1) I dislike Dean Markley strings. Heck, I'm not even a big fan of how Ernie Balls feel, but I really like the feel to the D'Addarios.

2) 24 packs @ $5 each is $120. Buying in bulk from JS, I got 12 packs for $42 + shipping. How is JS more expensive?

1)Well, if you don't like Dean Markley, then you don't like them. I was just stating that 'someone' does make that gauge of strings already (cuz you said nobody... semantics, whatever )

2)I meant JS is more expensive for 'me'... being that their CL-7 sets are $5.75/pk, and I just ordered them from a local store for $5.00/pk. Not for you. For YOU, you got a better deal.

juststrings.com is awesome.

I got my order just yesterday, three packs of D'Addarios 0.10-0.52 for the first 6 and three 0.70 singles for the 7th.

That's the break point for me. I walked out of the store without buying any. I have no problem paying $4 or $5 for a set of strings I'm about 80% happy with, but when they nearly double the price to $7 for an inferior good (one that I'm not completely happy with) I've gotta look elsewhere. That's why I made my order.
you poor thing...... $16.95 here!!!!!

different exchange rates. You're still paying more, but not as badly as you might think.

I placed my first order with JS a month back, and now both of my sevens are strung up with their strings. So far, I'm very happy with them: cheap, custom set, showed up in three days, and (so far) I haven't broken one (I used to snap the A from GHS constantly).

Just strings rules. they got all the weird guages i require.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.

Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Just strings is awesome...their selection is huge, especially since I normally play on a set of DR's 11-56 tuned in B - DR has a 10-56 set, and I buy single 11's. Great stuff, fast shipping (they are in New Hampshire I believe), and if something is out of stock they will ship as soon as it comes in free of charge. Can't go wrong with that! Plus, you probably spent that 75 cents extra on gas to go to your local store too .
