Yeah,the exchange rate thing is a bummer but you've got the better deal overall in the U.S.. Far cheaper Mesa's and lots of other things!

Yeah,it is indeed a mystery how Sims does that shit without removing the fretboard, but he does.
I guess that's why he's always been the #1 in his field.

My guess is that he drills holes for the dots and threads wires through the truss rod channel.

One of Sims' main selling points is that they can retro-fit your neck with LED's without removing your fretboard or any of the frets.

I think Darren's suggestion is probably very close to the mark.It's one of those things that Martin Sims doesn't go into too much because he's obviuosly perfected his method to a level where nobody else has and he wishes to keep it that way.
