 | Mod idea!! I was watching the texas chainsaw massacre yesterday and I had an idea  What if i put some imitation leather around my guitar with visible stitching so that it looks like it's made of skin?? I guess that would look creepy like hell  Or maybe some imtation snake leather like this http://www.fusselshop.de/images/prod...lange_blau.jpg It's cheap and looks cool and i wouldn't have to clean my guitar everyday  Has anybody done that before?? thank you, Marvin |

| Dean made a fur coated guitar in the 80's, and I believe Kirk Hammett has an ESP M-II coated in denim with a pocket on the front for plecs (I'm not totally sure it is Kirk Hammett's, but that guitar definatley exists  ).Also, if I recall correctly, in Japan there used to be an artist who had an ESP Eclipse covered in snakeskin (not to mention the Dean Dimebag stealth with snakeskin graphic  ).So, in answer to your question, no, no-one else has ever created a skin/leather coated guitar, and yes, it would look  tastic if you did! Then again, the idea of coating a guitar in other media is not original. Hope this helps, mate!  |

| Sorry, no Alligators around But Alligator skin would look pretty cool, but i can't find black alligator or croco leather. And I don't want those poor crocos to die just to make my guitar look better  If anybody finds black imitation leather with snake or alligator texture, please let me know  Cheers |
