Pickups suggestion for an RG1527

I'm finally going to be getting back in the realm of 7 strings in a week or two when I pick up a new RG1527 but I know from previous experience I'll need a pickup swap.

I'm thinking for the bridge either;
Blaze Custom
Blaze
DS7
EVO7

And for the neck;
Air Norton 7
PAF7
Blaze neck

I've had the Evo/Blazeneck set up before and it sounded really good, I'm just wondering if any of the other combanation sound good? I'm looking for a nice tight rhythm sound that can also be good for low gain application and a creamy smooth lead tone in the neck which would also produce a nice clean sound.

evo7 or blaze custom sound up your alley

stay away from the paf7. blaze neck and an7 both work for what your asking

i'd say Blaze or Evo for the bridge. Blaze Custom is cool too, it has a great split coil clean sound (don't care for it in series). but compared to the Blaze or Evo, it falls short a little in the "tight rhythm" department.

and for what you want from a neck pickup, i'd go with the AN7

I'd forget about the DiMarzio pups & go for a Bare Knuckle Nailbomb/Cold Sweat calibrated Combo.

I'll +1 the BKP suggestion. Especially since you're in Ireland and DiMarzios are probably more expensive for you.

If you're dead set on DiMarzios though, I'd do the DS7/AN7 combo as I really like the sound and look of the D-Sonic 7.

its worth the extra 90 bucks a pickup here, its definitely worth the extra like 10 there dude

If you do want to stick with dimarzios though, id say the evo/an7

dude, if you haven't got the axe yet, it might be worth grabbing Karl's in the for sale section, that has an M7 already installed which could be worth trying

hell, if I had any spare cash I'd grab it

I was looking at it acutally, but even with the v7/v8 its £50 more expensive than a brand new one =/

The DS7/AN7 combo is really good; tight and versatile, but I did just put in a order for a Nailbomb bridge which will hopefully be even better
