With all due respect to your opinion...

Tell that to my Alnico shredtastic balls out kick in the ass Nailbomb I just installed

I'll have clips up later comparing it with the Lundgren I took out.

i just threw a Nailbomb neck in my Agile Septor 27". i'm really digging it so far . it's plenty hot to balance with the Dimarzio X2N7 i have in the bridge. it's pretty bright, but not an ounce of harshness. still articulate even when soloing on the low A and has just the right amount of grit to it.

overall, it's probably the best 7 string neck pickpup i've played.

this is the first BKP i've tried so i don't have any others to compare it to. i do have an Warpig/ Cold Sweat set heading my way so i'll see how it stacks up to those.

I just got a ceramic Warpig (this is what Tim recommended for my C7 for metal) but haven't installed it yet. Will get back to you with some comments once I have put it in...

You can PM me and I can give you some advice/prices, like others have been suggesting. I've been hooking a lot of people on the forum up with BKPs and people have been really happy with their pickups.

There are a lot of options that could work great in a S7320 - Warpig (ceramic), Nailbomb (alnico 8 or regular), Miracle Man, or the Cold Sweat would be excellent choices.

whosdealin has a spectacular aura about
I installed a Nailbomb bridge in my 2077xl and at first I thought it wasn't tight enough for me. Granted it isn't extreemly tight on the lows like emg's or blackouts but the Nailbombs are full of much more tone than those pickups and I have tried them all. The Nailbomb has a nice warm thickness to it while still having enough high mids and highs to cut. Very harmonically rich and organic sounding. It really is a great pickup. If your amp has alot of gain and is tight as is than you will enjoy the Nailbomb for metal. If you need a pickup that is going to push your amp hard and tighten up the lowend than go with a hot ceramic.
My main amp has more than enough gain, drive and tight lows that the nailbomb works well for me so far as a live Metal pickup. I may still want to try some other BKP's because I like the NB alot.

Chris, glad to hear you're digging the Nailbomb. So far everyone I've sold a Nailbomb to has been saying the same thing, really cool to hear. I'm installing one in my blood red Vixen 7 tomorrow so I'm psyched.

If you want to try another amazing alnico model, definitely try the Holy Diver. If you want to go ceramic, I think the ceramic Warpig, Cold Sweat or Miracle Man would be cool.

PS: It's great to hear confirmation of another BKP sounding kickass in basswood (like your RG2077XL). So few pickups do. I never liked Duncans or EMGs in basswood, and most DiMarzios too (the Evo7 being the only one I really dug, Blaze is decent). So far I've heard great things about the Holy Diver and Miracle man in basswood - and now the Nailbomb too, cool.

I have nailbomb/coldsweat (both alcino5) combo in my 1077. Sounds ace. Oh, and the cleans are beyond awesome, they are literally the best pickups I've heard for clean stuff, they just sparkle!

And the nailbomb isn't the tightest, but it's massively organic. Sounds like an SD on steroids. I will eventually get a set for the 2027 as well. They are ace.
