Bill Lawrence
I just ordered a pair of Bill lawrence one L500XL and a L500R. These are going in my Gibson Les paul deluxe goldtop 1970
 . 91$+13$ for shipping. This is cheap it´s 624 swedish Kr. You can´t get ONE pickup for that kind of money. Before I ordered I read all about these pickups on this forum and other forums and harmony central. I think these are the ones that are "false" but I dont care. I am so full of anticipation that my genitals have sucked up into my bodycavity. |

i experimented with the L500R in the neck of my Gibson LP Custom and didn't care for it at all. it's just mud city, way too hot of a pickup for the neck position in an LP IMO. but hey, everyones taste in tone is different, let us know what you think of it
.the L500XL is a pretty cool, distinctive sounding bridge pickup (never tried it in an LP though). i think it really shines in trem equipped guitars. |

i have the l500xl in the bridge of my ibanez 321mh and it rocks. hard. and thoroughly.
