Blackouts! I need ur assistance! Pictures+ AGILE ROUTING INFO

Okay. I'm installing PI blackouts in my Septor, and I'm pretty confident about the installation, but I have a few (several) questions.

First things first. Wiring Diagram.

See those black, unnamed wires? Do I the extra black wire that came with the battery clip? What do I do with the white wire?

Now, I have 4 different pots.

Does it matter which one I use for tone and for volume? They all seem to be the same to me.

Out of those pieces, how do I assemble the pot?

SOLO BREAK

Back to work

What are these forky things?

Also, the bare wires on the pickups, since they're bare, they can't touch anything I assume?

ROUTING INFO FOR SEPTOR 727

You definitely need to route wood to fit the wings of a PI pickup, as well as routing for the new pots.

Thanks for looking

I'm going to make this pencil disapper

The extra wires might be for situations where you have switch or pots located further away from the pickups than usual. (Think Les Paul)

If the pots look same and they have same codes stamped on - they're identical.

Use them washers in a same manner as your current pots are mounted on guitar. When you dissasemble current electronics, looks what goes after what.

Forky things must be capacitors. Look what's stamped on them.

Bare wires are kept bare because it is irrelevant if they touch anything or not. Just wire everything nice and tight.

Thanks bro. The only thing thats really confusing my atm are the wires. I don't know what wires to use for the unnamed stuff.

Oh also, look at the volume pot. And I supposed to fold over the third tab, and solder it?

You can either use the excess wire that comes with it, or use some of the wires from the old wiring.

They are all the same. the only difference between volume and tone is the capacitor. Pick the two cutest ones and use those.

The pots are already assembled. When you take off the old pots, notice how they're installed and re-install the new ones the same way.

They're the capicators. notice where the one is in the wiring diagram. it makes your tone knob a tone knob and not a volume.

Just make sure to keep anything that's not covered away from other things that arent covered. Or cover them.

I installed a set on a M-207 LTD with absolutely no routing whatsoever, so it depends on the guitar.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Essentially. The wiring is almost exactly the same. Thats why duncans can be plugged into EMG's quick-connect harnesses. 707s are definitely going to require routing though.

Ya the routing isnt a problem
i bought a Agile Septor off the bay and as its the nastyly intence blue one im ganna strip the finish and repaint as well as mod the body slightly - broderick/cooley thing on the lower horn so it doesnt rape the back of ur hand and make the back dip larger
little things
and iv routed before so that isnt a problem

im getting 2 707TW tho
im assuming (like with the diagram for the blackouts) itl be the same wiring (for the coil split) as the EMG81TW? as EMG dont have wiring plans for the 707tw up atm

Thanks man, this helps a lot.

As far as the wood routing goes, I meant specifically for the Septor. I shoulda clarified.

EDIT: Routing is finished. I'll try to post updates as much as I can.

Maybe use a small bit of spare wire
solder it from the top of the pot to the tab
