ARGH HELP

I bought a Dimarzio Cliplok Strap, got one screw in fine, then stripped the second screw when it waslike 3/4 in. Suggestions?

same thing happened with mine bro, but once theyre in, theyre in, lol.

yea man the screw is a bit longer than a traditional strap button screw. You really need to drill the hole deeper with a smaller diameter bit before screwing in the replacment. I've see a body split because they forced the screw in.

Yep Vice Grips and back it out.

just unscrew her as best you can.
Then, just to be safe, id fill the hole with superglue and some toothpicks and drill a new hole for it

Vise grips it is! One went in, but I didn't drill it. Would you suggest i just leave it?

I got it out, now I'm just waiting for Dimarzio to send me the screw or the next time I go to a hardware store
