PAF Pro or PAF Joe?
I am looking into getting a RG321MH and i want to get some pickups to go in it.
I was looking into getting the ToneZone for the bridge and the one of the PAF's for the neck but i dont know which one. I am wondering what is the difference between the two and do they work well in an all mahogany guitar? Edit: any other suggestions you have are welcome but please no BKP or Lundgren i dont have that kind of cash I am looking to play anything from jazz to metal but most of the time i have my rig setup to get a Satch style sound. Well, I just got a JS. The PAF Pro is quite nice. It's actually slightly higher output than the PAF Joe.
Dimarzio explains it pretty well on their site: Quote:

I like the PAF Pro in a 24 fret guitar. I think that's really the best place for it. I also find it a little lackluster in the JS models (22 frets) as well as any of my own 22 fret guitars where I've tried it. So since the PAF Joe is a pickup patterned around a 22 fret guitar, I would stick with the PAF Pro for your 24 fret RG321.
