Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post
![]() | Very interesting info. I have always set my guitars up very low - but never quantified it. I have a very light touch - I play with eights and a very low action. The problem when others play my stuff is either the strings buzz like crazy or they break my strings. I don't have a problem with either. I'm now interested to try this method for setups and see how it comes out. |

Main Seven: DC727 (x2) Rig: JSX, GMajor Thanked: 10
![]() | After bonding a bit with my JS, I think action is the least of Satch's concerns. I'm astounded that he hasn't made a switch to an AANJ. This square heel is a total throwback to the '90's. Getting to the 22nd fret is a bitch. When I play my DC727 after the JS, it feels like the fret board is about 20 frets longer, not 2. That said, it's pretty neat in an old-school sorta way. It does have an awesome sound though. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Man that is LOOOOOW. I've never measured how must distance I have between the string and the neck, but for the most part I like things as low as I can get them. "ah man, he's got the orbs of energy, he wins : lol :" - D-EJ915 |
