6 weeks is so long. I never really bothered with knobs (teehee) but metal ones are quite slippy when you sweat all over the guitar and the pots are still stiff and new.

Very nice job routing for the pickups Simon. I was much more impressed with the Blackout 7's than I was with the 6'ers for some reason.

They're called Sure Grip II knobs, and they are made by Ibanez. They are nowadays found on the George Benson models and older Pat Methany ones, and they are still available as a 'spare part' in black or gold. Hoshino USA has none in stock, but you can find them in the 'parts' section of the Ibanez website.
