I found that even when I had the stock Agile pickups, the patches I had made with my 607b (with EMG 81-7s) were gainy as all hell when I played through them on my Agile. Now with a lundgren in it it's even higher output!

Hmmm, I am certainly swaying towards Lundgrens, 1 problem however, I do not want my tone to be totall DJENT DJENT DJENTDJENT, i still want it to sound awesome while playing slow octave riffs, or slow morbid angel type stuff.
my main focus though i clarity so i guess m7s are the way to go.... can anyone shed some light on what i said about slower stuff? thanks! |

I play a lot of slow stuff too, with big chords and switching between low palm mutes and high octaves or fifths, and the lundgren eats it for breakfast. You can make it djent or you can make it sing depending on how you set up your amp etc., the pickup itself just provides you with a great signal to shape.

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

A Miracle man may be an option for you.But I can't say anything bad about the Lundgren... That was a supreme pickup. This thing had balls of steel and was uber clear to boot.

I have heard wonderful things about Bare Knuckle and Lundgren. By what i have learned fromt he BKP forum and Tim from BKP (and the fact that you are looking for a similar pickup as to what i was) you should look into the Miracle Man, ceramic Warpig, or a Painkiller. Most likely in that order. Lundgrens sound like they would be awesome as well, but they will cost you more. I've been told the difference in sounds from both companies are more than worth the price if you are serious about it.
