![]() | SD Blackouts Question So I'm going to be having a Ibanez Xiphos 7 coming here pretty soon. It has D-Activator pickups in it, so I'm wondering about Blackouts now. Now I'm not completely sure on weather I will change to Blackouts from this guitar, but its definently a possibility. (I love actives) So my questions are. The standard sized Blackouts would work with this correct, without having to do any routing that is. Also, now I have never changed from passives to actives. For this I would need new pots, correct? If so where could I buy them? If you can add anything else in please tell me. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | you MIGHT have to do a little routing around the ears, and possible a little depth routing. nothing you couldnt actually handle with a steady hand, a hammer, and a chisel actually. I had to work my carvin, and with a dremel tool it took me maybe 20 minutes to get it done while keeping it looking nice and sharp. it comes with everything you need, except a 3 way blade. iirc the xiphos has a 5 way blade by default, and youll want to replace it with a 3 way. other than that, the blackouts come with the pots, wires, jack, and everything else you'll need ![]() Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk...
