blackgecko is a jewel in the rough
yeah ? how the fuck do i fix it ? ive been trying diferent wirings with no result, my last test was to only connect the bridge pickup, position 5 full sounding, position 4 coil split, volume decreases but not drastically so i think its ok, position 3 full sounding, 1 and 2 obviously no sound. so the problem is when connecting the neck pick up rigth ??

at least im free to die

You have wired your pickups out of phase by the sounds of it, make sure the two magnets are wired the same

right, the problem is when you're running both pickups coil split. that's another reason i was sure it was a phase issue--because you only have the problem in position 4 and that's the only position that runs both pickups coil split. (position 3 runs them both full on, not split.)

to fix it, ibznorange is right: switch the green and white wires with each other, and switch the red and black with each other. but only do this on _one_ of the pickups, not both. it doesn't matter which one.

and in your case, it doesn't have anything to do with the magnets--that's why i asked if you were getting any hum. you said you weren't, so your magnet polarities are cool. (you got them set up right when you rotated the neck pickup.)

so swap those wires and post back!
