Licensed FR Saddle Shims
Hello guys, it has been a while...anyway, I am trying to match the profile (radius) of the fret board of my Wayne guitar. Now since the licensed FR bridge is flat, and has no saddle height adjustment capabilities, I would like to add shims to match the profile. However, I cannot seem to find any. Does anyone know where I can get these shims, or anything remotely similar to use...or even a bridge or saddles that I can swap, that have the height adjustment (like the JP 7's bridge)...thanks.
Also, my bridge is similar to the one in the pic below, so it basically doesn't have those set screws out the back for what I believe are for intonating....so my question is, to intonate this bridge of mine, do I simply loosen the saddle screw, then adjust the length with my fingers??? Thanks. Ok I found an answer to the second part of my thread (but I still need help on the first): Quote:

You can use just about anything to shim saddles, provided it's solid. I'd suggest nut shims. Ibanez makes a variety of sizes, and you can cut them to fit.
