PU opinions for 7321

Yes, every last shred of good will towards the RG7321's stock pickups has evaporated - man, those things don't even have note definition through a clean amp setting!
So, I'm checking out replacement pickups, and since Bare Knuckles would cost more than this guitar, I'm looking at DiMarzios. The sound I have in mind is more of a classical sound, so it's a toss-up between PAF7 and AN7 in the neck position, and possibly a PAF7, AN7 or Evo7 bridge combination. The PAF7 neck/AN7 combo looks like it may be nice on paper, but has anyone tried out that combo in a basswood body? How about Seymour Duncans in basswood?
I'm really not looking for extreme high gain, but any combination that can hold its own from clean through distorted is fine by me! Any suggestions? Insults? Stu is gay comments?

There are about a trillion threads on pickups for various basswood Ibanez guitars. Take a look at the search function at the top left.

Look at the EVo7 in the bridge and the An7 in the neck. The An7 isnt a really common bridge pickup.
