| I think no matter what I do, both pickups do it. I wonder if I got a bad batch of EMGz, or if its just the guitar. |

| I was thinking that, the problem is it only really happens at my gigging volume. My laptop mix might distort if its that loud. |

| I used to have that problem a lot with my 707's. All I did was turn the gain down, and turn the volume up a bit(both on my amp), then tweak my noise suppressor. I still got an extreme amount of gain with no squeal, even doing stoccato stuff. I dunno, it worked for me.  At both practice and gigging volume. |
