Suggestions: Blackout 7's. I've played on these and they have amazing output. Very, very clear and precise. Boosted highs and mid-range over the EMGs. Also, not as compressed.

EMG 7's. The 707 and the 81-7 are two of some of they choices they offer. Both the blackouts and emgs require routing no matter which blackout size you get. The EMGs offer a more compressed tone, not as much output, but still a lot. The mids and highs compared to the blackouts are a little turned down.

Personally, I like the compressed tone and I'm fine with doing any routing for the tone I want. I have the EMG setup in my RG7321, which is made of the same materials as your Agile. I just don't remember if it's the Septor or the Interceptor that has the 707's in them now stock...
The Interceptor has 707s in it.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

EMGs man. I just converted over to them and I can trully say they are amazing for rhythm and great for leads (some might disagree with me there). I can get such technical riffage down with the 707 that I couldnt with the evolution.

EDIT: Im sure whatever holds for EMGs will surely hold for the newer blackouts.

I'll throw another suggestion out there...

Lundgren M7. Meshuggah pickup. Uber tight, cutting, with a terrific riff-friendly tone.

So, you have -
  • SD Blackouts
  • EMG 707/81-7
  • Dimarzio EVO 7
  • Dimarzio D Activator
  • Bareknuckle ceramic Warpig/Nailbomb
  • Lundgren M7

Ta da!

The DActivators are noticeably "tighter" than the Evo, and uber-present and compressed much like EMG's. They'd probably be a better match, whereas the Evo screams like a sonofabitch and does the thrashy chug thing well. worth a nod here. I'm gradually becoming convinced they're not the pickup for me (I've got a set in my 1527 ATM), but they'd be a good match for your needs.

NovaReaper is on a distinguished road
the lundgren model M is probably the best pickup ever for anything, especially technical shit.

There's no such thing as the best pickup ever for anything.

Different tools for different applications.

Drop Tim an email with any questions you have and let him know what kind sound you're looking for, he'll help you to pick out the exact thing you need, that's another reason why I'd go with BKP's, the customer service is incredibly good. You'll find the email addresses at the BKP site.
