They're liscensed OFR7's, though. No word on by who, either. The Gotoh is supposed to be quite good, IIRC, but a lot of the others are iffy.

Or maybe it's the Schaller that a lot of people have been impressed with...?

They only have OFR 6ers though, no 7s. Just shitty LFR 7s, which the whole point of most people trying to find an OFR7 is to avoid

yep. the 540S7 Lo-Pro routes are also similarly longer toward the strap button, and deeper, than 7620 Lo-Pro routes. dunno why they changed the design--as a builder i always prefer leaving as much wood as possible--but in this case it's working in your favor.
