Frett Buzz / Setup

So I did a bit of work on my S7 recently to get blackouts in. I had the neck off the body, polished the frets with 000 steel wool, routed the body, got the electronics in, put the neck back on, and strung it up with heavier strings (10-52 + 60). I knew I'd have to set it up again - trem and truss rod adjustment and intonation was all I was anticipating, however now we hit a problem.

There's fucking ridiculous fret buzz pretty much the whole way up the neck, on all strings, but ridiculously bad on the B. The relief is good, there's a small gap at the 7th fret when holding the 1st and last fret, and I've had the action stupidly high and still get the same problem. I'm wondering if I should take the neck off and redo it, as I'd never done that before and am wondering if I've done it wrong, as there was never any buzz before save a touch on the first fret or two on the b. Is it possible the necks been put on incorrectly and is causing ridiculous buzzing that nothing else is fixing, or is there anything else you can see that I've done in the process that could cause this?

Jetzt liegst du hier, ganz regungslos, in meinem hand und meinem schoß, du bist so kalt...

Already tried that, didn't work, even with a very large amount of relief I was still getting buzz.

It might not be the neck? Trem, nuts, straplocks? Im not an "ibbyhead" or whatever, but if you have the little bar (for the string angle) on your guitar, and it is loose, it may be vibrating because of the larger freq wave coming from the B. Dont just try to blindly fix it, find it. It may something like the 24th fret has popped out a bit.

Does it rattle on the open string, even though the string is not coming into contact with anything but nut and saddle? Then it is not *fret* buzz, if its not coming from the frets. Could the pickup be touching the string?

the pickups might be rattling too. I had that problem really bad in my RGT, finally realized the neck pickup was vibrating and making noise

I've knocked on the guitar a bunch of times and haven't heard any vibrations or rattling so I'm fairly sure it's the frets.

Any ideas or info as to how to properly put a neck on and if I could've gone wrong?

Nope, no shims, had none before either and no buzz with lower action and lighter strings.

try raising the bridge and shimming the neck approprioately - everything might have just been unsettled during your deconstruction
