This won't work because the diagram for the RG4ex1 uses 2 two conductor humbuckers and a single coil. I have two 4-conductor humbuckers that I'm working with.

Just solder the black and white wires together (and tape them off with electrical tape), put bare and green to ground and use the red as hot. Voila.
