Well, they worked great when they worked. Those were made by Ping, not Schaller, and the allen bolts that they used for the range adjustments were easily stripped. The Schaller made speedloaders are just as high quality as an OFR.

As you said, I don't see why people want these speedloaders so much. A regular Floyd is easy enough to string up.

Before i installed my tremelno, it took me maybe 10 minutes, 15 on the long end, to string up a floyded axe, whereas with a fixed bridge it was maybe 5 or 6. with the damn tremelno and the added bennies of some sperzels installed, it takes like 3 minutes to string up a 7, 5 if im putting different gauges on it
