![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The blackouts arrived, aka "Carvins pickup routes arent so bad" So i just got some p1 blackouts from infused1 Good thing about carvin routes. they are deep enough for the blackouts, and require about 1/2 mm of routing on each side of the upper ear (1 screw, the triangle shaped one). Literally, it took me about 15 seconds between both routes to do all the routing necessary Just thought id give carvin a bit of a break lol Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk... KAT... chk-die. -TomAwesome |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i forgot to note, you will still have to drill a single screw hole on the bottom ear. They fit fine, but i had to do wierd foam balancing shit to keep them level, so i ended up slightly routing the bottom of the pickup casing to provide an exit for the quick connect wire, so the pickup naturally sits level. It wasnt necessary, but it really does make the rest of the install easier. Im still cleaning up the routes and making it all pretty and ill get pictures up |

Main Seven: Carvin DC727 Thanked: 2
![]() | I am anxious to find out how these sound for you; I am awaiting my DC727 and have already contemplated ordering Blackouts for it (as many people have stated that Carvin's 7 string pickups are mediocre). Let us know ASAP! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well my buddy killed the marshall's mains fuse ![]() im taking her into a tech tomorrow. well see whats up. Nothing seems bad though, no smoke or anything, and the fuse IS rated to 110v, while the mains voltage here is 120v, and I think that could be the problem (He had it dimed for a bit) Im rewiring it different asap, atm it has dual volumes and a tone (i wanna switch it to a volume and dual tones) Sounds pretty damn good through my little peavey practice amp |
