Dimarzio's in a Carvin

Has anyone who's wired Dimarzio's in a DC727 happen to know if the wiring is actually the same? Meaning, the Carvin pickups use the same colors as the Dimarzio's, but whether they're actually run to the same places is the question. I don't have a Carvin wiring diagram.

I highly doubt that the carvin pups and dimarzios share the same color code. In fact almost every manufacturer of pickups has their own color codes. Best thing would be to ask Carvin if they have one? And thank you for posting in the correct forum.

they're not the same, just use the dimarzio diagrams when you install

does anybody know if a blaze neck pick up matches well with a duncan jb in the bridge a student of mine gave it to me and i'm considering put on my carvin?

i generally just dont like to match dimarzios and duncans, theyre so different sonically. duncans are more open, whereas dimarzios are more... concentrated maybe?
I think theyd match up about as well as any though. Id give it a shot, worst case scenario you take it out and put the old pickup back in
