I love wiring up guitars. It used to be a bitch, but the more you do it, the easier and more fun it is.

I have a D-sonic in my LTD, It's a CLEAN pickup with just the right ammount of kick! But boy did it sound like shit with the bar at the bridge... I switched it back immediately I love it! It compliments the way I like to tune my sound perfectly.

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known.

hmm.. well i'd better decide now before the strings go on lol. i do like a bright sound, but i dont want it overly bright, but i'm worried that if i turn the bar towards the neck i'll get mud and dullness!

the left side here being the neck, the right being bridge?

finished!! just gotta re-string now...
middle pickup's buzzin like crazy but fuck it, i never use it!

ok i did it... with the bar facing the neck.. and it's very petrucci... i dont like it!! i need more cutting power to my tone, i like it sharp, petrucci has a very blunt pasty tone, which works for him, but it's not for me, so i'm gonna try turning it round... with the strings on... which is gonna be a bitch cos it's an RG350dx (scratch plate, motherfuckers!)
but i'm doing that tomorrow, cos i'm too tired! night, thanks for the help

ok.. how do i do this!??! i cant get to the pickups without taking the strings off!! :'(
