Herrseigneur has a spectacular aura about
About redrilling Schaller Locking tuners

Hello folks! I truly have no luck (remember the "Blackout into RG7321: The TRUTH Revealed (ugly pics inside)" thread ? Here I come again with a new problem, also concerning the damn RG7321. Now that the thing is ready to rock with the Blackouts, I told myself that I might buy locking tuners so that it stays in tune as well...And as I expected, the fucking Schaller Locking tuners refuses to take my 60 up its ass I was was even considering experimenting with 66 in the futur...

What I wanted to know BEFORE I break something (again) , is
=>Is it ok to redrill the hole of a Schaller Locking Tuner???<=

Well, even knowing if it's safe , maladroit as I am, I will probably end up breaking something anyway
Merci beaucoup!!

Apparently the pin in the Schallers is spring loaded, what you have to do is get someone to hold the pin down from the other side with a small object, while you drill out one side, then switch sides, at least that's what dpm has said (I think).

You can redrill, but 070 fits without that, if you want thicker you can always unwind some windings from the end
