They all go to one clip with a brown wire sending all of them out to the preamp and then a bunch of other wires that go to the output and controls. I'll take more pictures later... for now, here are some that explain it better:

Are they numbered for a certain position/string? Are they different heights so you have to put them in in a certain order, or do you have to shim?

They are numbered, I'm not sure if the heights are different or not... I leave that stuff up to the builder since they are more knowledgable than myself.

I know the PS-8080-00 saddles aren't the peizo ones but it's interesting that lots and lots of places state that they will fit the Ibanez Edge.

Such as: GRAPH TECH PS8080 Floyd Rose saddles PS-8080-00 - Ss

Does this may mean that Ibanez edge owners can take advantage of these saddles?

Edge yes, Lo pro, Edge pro, or any other variant no
The original edge can accept OFR saddles though (Ive seen it with plain ofr saddles, not piezo ones, if that makes a difference)

Yes, but as Max said, the Low profile versions can't as their string clamp bolt is much shorter and a protrusion from the saddle is raised or lowered for fine tuning, wheras OFR's and the like push the longer bolt up and down for fine tuning.

Good luck finding an original Edge 7 though.

Actually, they should work on that trem, since it is not a low profile variant. Notice that the standard trems have the long allen bolts that the fine tuners push down on, while the LoPros have the short allen bolts and use a different fine tuning mechanism.

Simple rule of thumb: if the bridge will take a D-Tuna, it will also take these.
