Stubborn Pot/ Stuck Volume Knob

On my rg1527, the pot is stuck or something...
I first noticed this when I used the volume knob as normal, and then it was hard to turn and eventually would not turn at all. I took off the volume knob, nothing wrong with the knob. Took off the tone knob, nothing was wrong with it. However, as the tone pot had a smooth turn, the volume knob would not turn at all.

I took off the rear cavity cover and did not see anything that was stopping the pot from moving. What should I do?

Thank you.

Cut it off and replace it. Is it still covered under warranty?

I'm not sure how long the warranty is. I bought it last year in June. How long are normal warranties on Ibanez guitars lol

I don't know what the Canadian one is, but almost all retailers will guarantee for 12 months. What you've described isn't wear and tear, its a bad component. Just unlucky I guess.

No. Its from a dodgy pot. The chances of getting one are tiny, but it happens.

That happened to the volume pot on my 1527 as well. Just get a new one.
