![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | here, it started raining, and so they had to stop mid show, cause while they were prepared for rain, the venue (outdoor festival) was not. and they waited for the rain to stop so they could keep playing, even though people started bitching. he just came back and was like listen, the radio station putting on the show was unprepared, were not stopping the show, just waiting, so shut up and stop throwing shit. they did an amazing job all in all, including still playing despite the rain and shit. most large bands just cancel if they have to stop at some point Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not a clue, man. IMO, if the Blackout 7's are like the Blackout 6's, you should like the BON in the bridge for highs, but for lows, you will hate them. I am like you: I want (6 string) a pickup that delivers GREAT HIGHS and warm lows. Blackout necks in the bridge did this for me at least the latter, havent found a bridge that does both yet. I'm looking into bare knuckles. But if you're like me as well...you use the neck pickup for soloing. And that, my friend, is also where EMG shines. I love my 85's tone for solos, is this the pickup that everyone changes for 60's? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | EMG says in the description of the 60 that it's the brightest pickup they make, so if the 707 sounds harsh to you, the 607 will likely be worse. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | They're also using Bogner Ubsershalls, even Duncan Designs would be crushing through that. There's really nothing fizzy about Blackouts in my experience. If you want a warmer sound put the Blackout neck in the bridge. The Blackout bridge in a very bright guitar sounds good but not as good as in a darker/mahogany guitar. |

![]() | im not sure about the 60-7 but the sixer version is amazing. Its really the only active pickup i like any more. It is really glassy like Ibzrorange said. When ever I describe it, I say it mixes the things I like about humbuckers and the things i like about singles. Its a bright pickup, for sure, but it doesn't really have the upper mids that tend to give pickups that harsh fizz (imo.) If you are using it for metal, its more a shred pickup in the bridge than a rhythm, although if you play a lot of real (triads, alts, etc) chords distorted, you will love it there. |

![]() ![]() | I have a 60-7 in the neck position of my ltd and it PWNS!!!!! Not to sure i would put it in the bridge position but for soloing it has the best tone of any active pickup. |
