(I Got Some) New DiMarzio Pickups! (For My Guitar)

Got me a X2N (bridge) and a Tone Zone (neck).

Yes, I know the TZ is a high output bridge bucker, but I'm experimenting, plus this is the set that Michael Romeo (SymX) uses.

The guitar I'm using is an Ibanez SZ520 (mahogany body and neck, maple top, rosewood fretboard). My amp is a Peavey XXX. I won't be able to install these until Sunday earliest. Did I mention that these are BLUE?!?!?!?! Very sexy...

Also a wiring diagram would be nice.

Needs to be series (I've heard parallel sounds very meh with the X2N). My guitar has two volumes and a tone. I want it to be split in the middle position too. Find me a diagram like this and there will be gay love for you.

I'm tired *yawn*...

who told you the x2n was meh in parallel?

why do you need a wiring diagram. you cant just replace the pups? or did you remove all of the electronics

See "*yawn*" above, lol. Yeah I guess I don't really need a diagram.

Dude, did you buy these new? They should have the installation and wiring instructions in the box. In any case, DiMarzio have the wiring diagrams on their website - www.dimazrio.com

Dude, the X2N sounds fantastic in split and paralell modes, but it isn't brutal then like it is in series. I plan on replacing the EMGs in my SLSMG with an X2N and a something, not sure what yet. Right now its an 85/60 which work well for it, but i am so sick of the active sound.

Congrats on the new Pups though, good color choice as well.
