if you REALLY wanted to, could you put pickups in a banjo?
would it work with EMG's?

I'm sure it's possible, but I wouldn't imagine that it would sound very good.

i don't think it would work, considering that a banjo is basically a drum (drumhead and all) with a neck and strings attached.

i want a 25.5" banjo, 5 string, but with the 5th string being the same length as the rest, tuned in fourths with a dropped D...

OR, i could just get a guitar banjo (those exist, and they OWN!)
