For people interested in S7 + Blackouts (or any pup for that matter)

I just gutted the electronics on my S7420 in preparation for blackouts and thought people might be interested in the following info.

The depth of the routes on the S7 is around about 10mm. The depth of the stock pups from top to the bottom of the foam pads is approximately 20mm - almost the same as the blackouts, however this includes the height of the wire underneath the pickup. Blackouts are about 22 mm and on top of that you're gonna need to account for the wire. Depending on the wire thickness you might just get away with a direct install but I'm guessing the routes need to be a few mm deeper (probably around 5mm = 1/5").

Hope that is of use to anyone looking at new pups for their S's.

Jetzt liegst du hier, ganz regungslos, in meiner hand und meinem schoß, du bist so kalt...

When the blackouts are in there will be some more pics. Also, the holes for the pots are 9mm in diameter.
