 | What should i use to fill up a pick up cavity? So i find myself wanting to repaint my 1527 to some other finish instead of that typical sparkly blue thing, and then i thought about maybe even converting it to just a bridge pickup guitar. I know i've seen it done before, but I don't know what you would use to fill up that neck pickup cavity. Any advice here? |

| you could do a mold of the pickup cavity, and then get like a steel block fitted, with some space to glue a block of wood over it, so the paint has something to stick to... added mass and sustain FTW! :P -------------------------------------- Æn Æppl Æ Dæi, Kiips De Dåktor Awæi |

| glad to find this thread, I will be doing this as well soon. But I think I'm going to fill the bridge pickup cavity and put an emg 707 in the neck |
