 | What's it take to refinish a guitar? My friend has this guitar:  He wants to make it into this (ala photoshop):  Is this the kind of thing somebody could tackle without any prior experience or is he better off just taking it to a shop to get done? And if you think it's easily doable, advice/instructions would be much appreciated! Thanks guys "I have a koala bear infestation in my apartment. It's the cutest infestation ever. | I have one question about finishing that I might as well put in this thread, sorry if I'm hijacking it. I was thinking about maybe starting a project of refinishing/rebuilding a guitar. Do you need any special sort of finish for the sound of the guitar and to not destroy the wood? I was thinking about maybe getting a guy that I know that works in a car workshop to spray it for me there, would it work out? |
