Shame, but hey, I'd love a 7string version of the breed neck, but that isn't going to happen either!

You and me both dude, you and me both. There's no decent "hot PAF" neck pickup from Dimarzio. I don't like the Air Norton 7 much, too warm.

Hot PAF? I thought the nametag "PAF" basically meant a warmer-sounding pup these days.

If you want a hot neck pup, you could plop an EVO 7 in the neck position.

I used to dream of the day that bridges and pickups would be available in 7 string versions. There are a lot of choices available now, like EVO 7 and AN 7, but it would be nice to see more options from the big guys, like Dimarzio, from whom we expect to see lots of seven string stuff.

The evo7 is instant win in my book. Ive tried almost all that Dimarzio has to offer in the 7-string dept, and the Evo7 is still on top.

When i made this clip i tried to group together a bunch of different kinds of riffs to show how the PU did with them.
Jesus man, did you get that clean out of the X2N as well?

Well, let's say a PAF-Pro on steroids, which is what the Breeds are. The AN7 sounds great for picked lines, but not so hot for legato stuff, and it's not any hotter than a Blaze Neck, which is what I have now.

And no, I would not want an Evo7 in the neck. Somewhere in the middle, thank you.
