Wiring mistake
I got a new SH-5 Duncan Custom in the mail today, and I just connected it a while ago. The pickup works well and it sounds absolutely awesome in my Blackjack. However, I was just going to play a little bit with the tone knob when I noticed that it isn't a tone knob anymore, both my tone and vol knobs work as volume knobs now. What have I done wrong?

 tell us how you connected everything, make a photo or something  |

Most likely wired the tone pot up wired the tone pot up wrong. Look at how it should be connected, make sure only ONE wire runs between it and the volume and that the capacitor from/to the tone pot is in the right place. I've done this before but I have totally forgotten what the issue was but it was something like that
