![]() | Intonation Problem Schecter C-7 Hellraiser Hi! I´ve bought a C-7 Hellraiser and its a very beautyful guitar. But i´ve got one problem. I don´t get the right intonation on d string. The tone at 12th fret is alwways to low even if i screw the saddle on the bridge to the front limit. Whats wrong? Greets Joey |

![]() | Thanks for reply, but when i move it to the other direction the d on 12th fret is nearly C#, thats nearly a halftone to deep. I don´t understand how there can be such a huge variance. If i move it to the front limit its nearly the d, but not exact. Greets Joey |

![]() | I have a problem with the B string on my hellraiser - nowhere else to go. One thing is you might be able to completely unscrew the saddle, turn it backwards, and put it back on. That could give you a little more room to adjust. |

![]() | Yes i´ve changed the strings three times ;-) To turn the bridge would only help, if i were at the back limit, but i screw it to the front limit, so i couldn´t get it more to the front. I use following string gauges in normal B tuning: 008 1st e in e 011 2nd b in b 014 3rd g in g 22 4th d in d 32 5th A in A 46 6th E in E and a 56 as 7th in B It only occurs on d string....very weird i think... So i also talked with a good friend about this problem and he thinks the strings are to thin and the string action is to narrow but i love such deep string actions, so i´ve switched to a 26er d and now it works. In Future i will switch to an hybrid set, what do you thnk about the following gauges on the hellraiser: 009 1st 011 2nd 016 3rd 026 4th 036 5th 046 6th 058 7th I donßt want to tune down or somethin like this. Are the gauges ok for the hellraiser? Thanks alot for the replys till now, i´am very glad that you all try to help! Greets Joey |
