OK, its just an expression! Although I never played M7, I just wanted tightness and clarity of cheramic Lundgren with the alnico5 JB growl!
I think I got it with this one.
So, its a JB moded for downtuning!

That sounds great!

You should have had him put an Alnico 8 in there. Better than A5 for this type of music (I use an A8 magnet).

A8 gives you ceramic tightness with alnico growl. Like a mix between A5 and ceramic.

I have a Duncan Designed JB in my guitar (came with the guitar ) and your sound is exactly the sound I want! THAT'S what I keep hearing in my head with this guitar (as opposed to what actually comes out of the amp! )

Its that rewounded JB-7 on the blackjack and Engl 530 through freq. compensated output direct to soundcard. Little equalized and compressed.

I'm planing to install EMG-EXG active expander instead of tone pot on my schecter.
