![]() | Fret Buzz I have a locking trem. and I tune in C#. for the longest time i have gotten fret buzz. even after guitar setup. the top two strings just rattle. so i upgraded from a 49 on my top (six string) to 52. and still.. a ton of buzz.. nothing is hitting any frets.. and nothing is touching my pickups.. it just seems as if the strings are loose.. but i really dont want to get a heavier gauge of string.. anyone have any ideas on what can be wrong? |

![]() | Are you sure when you pick the strings the vibration isnt causing a bit of contact with the frets? Might need a shim but I would think a setup wouldve taken care of that... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | try raising the bridge on the bass side just a little. strings dont vibrate side to side, its an ellipse thicker strings after a point will make MORE buzz, cause the ellipse gets larger Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk... I do the worlds lowest profile setup™ (ask ESPlayer) and although it rattles, it doesn't come through the amp AT ALL...and who mic's up an unplugged electric? ![]() |
