There's a regular trem cavity and springs there, just no "Pull-up" rout. Dive-only.

What can I say man, I work pretty hard. Also, the day I found out Bareknuckles were actually 17.5% cheaper than is listed on the site, that is the day they went from "ugh too much like Lundgrens" to "well, I can do that."

Well, now that makes a whole lot more sense, that is what I originally thought. Thx for clarifying.

Is that a stock guitar or homebrewed?
you can still divebomb with the floyd man
thats stock
people dont seem to realize, that before ibanez rolled around with the RG,
ALL floyds (production anyways, and i havent seen any customs) were topmount. The RG with its crazy ass wierd recessed floyd was really a big innovation.

I never said you couldn't do diver bombs... I was simply surprised by the comment that tremolo was flat-mount. Since my initial comment, I thought it looked top-mount (since you can see the tremolo posts on there), was just wondering why it didn't have the extended cavity for pull-ups. Wasn't aware those tremolos were used back then like that. In a way, I guess you're right in that I've probably been exclusively playing Ibanez for just too long.

not trying to give you beef man, just wrote that up before i saw your post.
yeah, alot of younger people dont realize, cause they werent around shredding on shit before 87. shit thats before i was born even, but my bro had an 87 kramer barreta with a topmount, so i got to learn about that stuff that way.
just playing ibanez wont do it, its just a time thing. jackson and alot of (most even) the big manufacturers around put the floyds recessed now, cause that just adds more options
