Lets "pretend" I'm stupid and I understood "battery" in what you said. So what do I do?

take one of the two batteries out, and run a little piece of wire between the two connectors on the other clip

Will try when I get them! (18V first, then wire)

Does it matter what kind of wire? Also, will the 9V get eaten more quickly?

nope. since they are in series (one after the other), they are both running fully and the voltage is being added together (hence 18v mod, from 2 9v batteries. 9+9=18)
if they were in parallel (so like the wire divided into 2, then each wire had the battery, then it came back together) they would be running at half power (just how electricity works in that case) meaning 9v total still, and since they are both only running at half power, each battery would get drained half as fast, meaning double battery life.

Thanks again. I should have the Blackouts today or tomorrow. I'll create a new topic maybe with shitty webcam pics of what I'm doing.

This is going to be horrible when I install my pickup.
