Metric wrench for Ibanez panel jack?

I'm going to have to buy a single thin open wrench to tighten the nut on the new deep panel jack for my Ibanez RG7421 - I hate buying tools with only one use on one guitar -

Grrrrrr

- as long as I have to spend the money, is there a metric size that's exactly right? It looks to be about 9/16", but that's SO American... I'm using it onstage regularly now so I can't fool around with a half-assed job.

Just buy one of those metric key wrenches - they have the smallest to the largest ones. That one tool is a must have for a guitar be it trem/hardtail.

An Allen wrench isn't going to tighten the nut on a 9/16" (approx.) jack nut. I already have allen wrenches.

Relax bro - I misread what you typed.

You can easily tighten those with any needle nose pliers.

Pftah, a set of 8-12mm will get them all done - they tend to distort a bit depending on use and random uncertainty, so they don't always fit what they techinically should.

Oh, a barrel jack ;p

I just finger tighten them and then do the rest of the way with a pair of pliers.
